Sir Arthur Pearson one of the outstanding publicists of England is dead as a result of a peculiar accident in his home today.

While at his bath he slipped and fell striking his head on the faucet of the bath tub. Unconscious he fell into the water in the tub and drowned before aid could reach him.

Throws brick at police man

now he's dead

The first death resulting from violence at the stock yards during the packers strike

was reported this morning. George Pyle, a laborer died from wounds received Wednesday

night. The police said that Pyle was shot by a motorcycle policeman after he had thrown

several bricks at the officer.
